lyrics

Let me ask you something…
and let me make myself clear. This is not a question about doing or not doing, this is not a question about living or not living. We are all here, there is no question about that. This is a question about being or not being.

So let me get to it.
What is your consciousness? The thing that makes us, us. The thing that makes our thoughts. The very thing that defines us as existing in this universe. Some say its physical, some say its more than that. But what do you say?
As humans, we are not conscious until our brain has developed enough in the womb to validate a consciousness. Which points to it being physical. Our consciousness comes from our physical brain. If that is the case, Could we take our brain and implant it into a perfectly working outside body and have the same thoughts? Have the same memories? If THAT be the case then we should be able to take our brain and put it in a mechanical robot and still have the same thoughts, feelings and memories as from our previous human body.
If that sounds too crazy then it points to the opposite. Our consciousness comes from an outside source. A soul. A spiritual place. An extra dimension of existence that we have yet to find. An extra dimension of existence that we have yet to grasp. An extra dimension of existence that we have yet to understand.
Stop. Think. Never understand.
